SIGMA FINANCIAL STAFFING OPENS IN ATLANTA
Atlanta, Georgia
(6-6-08)
Sigma Financial Staffing
LLC, a professional staffing firm specializing in accounting and finance
placements on a project, interim or permanent basis, has opened its
office in Atlanta.
Owned and operated by Keith
Anderson, a 19-year staffing veteran with experience at Hudson Highland
Group in Atlanta and Robert Half International, Sigma Financial Staffing
will provide senior level accounting and finance professionals ranging
from bookkeepers to interim CFO’s to businesses in the metro
Atlanta area.
“Having started and
operated businesses and helped train people in the staffing industry
in Boston, Atlanta, Washington, San Francisco, Los Angeles, the UK
and Australia, I understand what it takes to meet the needs of the
client,” said Anderson. “The key is stability and maturity
in the skilled professionals we provide, and knowledge of best practices
in the companies we serve.”
A native of Michigan and
graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Anderson made the decision
to open his own firm under the auspices of Microtech Staffing Group
of Massachusetts, after years of running large regions for major staffing
firms. “I have always had the desire to open my own shop and
was at the point of my life where I didn’t want to work for
a large company again, so it just made sense to make this move,”
said Anderson. “I am really glad that I did.”
Anderson cites the challenges
that managers face today in running their departments at the appropriate
staff levels and with the necessary resources to avoid burn out and
high turn over, as a key ingredient in the success of staffing firms.
“Competitive companies today strategically use temporary staff
to bring needed skills to their organization on an interim basis,
or to provide support when workloads increase. We provide temporary
professionals during peak times, project professionals to execute
strategic initiatives, or subject matter experts in financial and
data analysis, audit, accounting and regulatory changes, among others.”
The Sandy Springs
resident says his goal is to be seen as the highest quality staffing
firm for accounting and financial professionals in the Metro Atlanta
market. “I don’t promise that I can solve every problem,
but I will try to create an honest relationship that will go beyond
the one transaction.”
