STAFFING CONSULTANTS OPENS OFFICE IN WOBURN

Gemini Staffing Consultants, a staffing agency specializing in providing
R&D and clinical trial professionals to the biotech, pharmaceutical
and medical device community, has announced the opening of its new
office at 10 Office Park in Woburn.
Owned and operated
by Todd Ryan, an experienced staffing professional who has worked
in the field since 1995, Gemini Consultants will focus on providing
highly qualified temporary and permanent professionals in support
of Metro-Boston area companies, particularly those in or entering
clinical trials.
“My goal
is to fill a void in the local staffing industry by connecting talented
and experienced workers with biotech, pharmaceutical and medical-device
firms in need of help,” says Ryan. “Our founder, account
managers and recruiters have spent their careers here, and their knowledge
of the market and pool of skilled workers allows them to provide exceptional
service to candidates and clients.”
A graduate of
Salem State College, Ryan has more than a dozen years of experience
in the staffing industry, most recently as the vice president of client
services and delivery for a Boston-area recruitment firm. He had previously
worked as the Northeast regional manager for the Philadelphia-based
YOH Company, a $400 million contract-staffing organization. Prior
to that, he held the position of branch manager at Sapphire Technologies
of Woburn.
“I look
forward to the opportunity to provide local staffing to local companies
in need of skilled workers,” said Ryan. “The large, out-of-state
staffing agencies don’t have the familiarity with the local
companies or the relationships with the skilled workers to be successful.
We know the life-science industry as well as we know our own.”
Nationally, the
staffing industry does more than $70 billion in annual sales, employing
an estimated 12 million temporary and contract employees annually.
It remains one of the fastest growing business sectors in America.
A native of Cape
Cod, Ryan and his wife live in Reading with their twin daughters.
